Established in 1951, Menlo-Atherton is located in the residential neighborhood of Atherton, between San Francisco and San Jose.  A diverse high school of approximately 2,000 students, which reflects the area's wide range of social, economic, cultural, and educational diversity, Menlo-Atherton fosters personal and social responsibility, develops intellectual depth and flexibility, and nurtures future success in college and the workplace.
